Traver Gallery is excited to share our October exhibition by renowned artist Dante Marioni. This exhibition marks a significant development in Dante’s exploration of optics and patterns. Using unique cane working techniques developed by Marioni himself, these works feature patterns that layer and intersect, using both surfaces of the clear vessel to create a moiré effect.
Marioni’s passion is the process. The pieces in this new exhibition are an awe-inspiring testament to his mastery of the material. He has continued to challenge himself throughout the years, designing pieces that stretch his skills to the limit and challenge our conception of contemporary glass. The sculptures presented in this exhibition exemplify that artistic growth. Marioni’s sculptures are simply astonishing.
