In Person Artist Talk with Tori Karpenko, Moderated by Tommy Gregory

Join us for a special in-person conversation with artist Tori Karpenko, moderated by artist and Senior Project Manager for Public Art at the Port of Seattle, Tommy Gregory. Together, they’ll discuss Karpenko’s current exhibition at Traver Gallery, Where Water Becomes Sky. The exhibition includes a series of reverse paintings on glass, abstracting color and form through layered surfaces that reflect the movement and stillness of high alpine lakes. The conversation will also touch on Invitation, Karpenko’s 22-foot carved red cedar sculpture, first debuted at the 2024 Seattle Art Fair and now installed at our new location on the ship canal.
