There are known knowns. There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don't know.

The exhibition focuses on systems and structures we use for understanding the world around us, and how light, time, and space help to construct an experiential reality. The works question the known and orderliness, while bringing context to the unknown and chaotic.

Through the accumulation of the individual parts, the work investigates the innate entropic relationship between parts to a whole. I focus on the subtleties of causality and the histories ingrained within each element, to express my interest into my own tenuous existence. The works utilize the imagined and metaphorical qualities of fiber optics – referencing both their production and implementation, while also considering their powerful contributions to our hyper reality.
