Shea Bajaj

Shea Bajaj strives to visually represent a form of altered state of consciousness in his work – the experience of being so intensely focused on an object or experience, that everything else seems to dissolve.

His paintings are thick pieces of tinted resin, into which subtly hued grids and patterns seem to be submerging. The subjects of his paintings often seem to be in the act of dematerializing – or materializing – depending upon your point of view.
